Patient of the Month

Patient of the month for St.Jude’s Research Hospital, Brady Burford, 3 years old was diagnosed with a solid tumor December 2005

Brady’s story:The memories the Heather and Dru have of their son’s diagnosis devastate the Christmas holiday for them. After Brady’s first trip to see Santa his stomach hurt and he started trowing up. They took him to see a pediatrician he told then that he had a solid tumor in his abdomen called neuroblastoma. Doctors sent the family to St. Jude’s in Memphis. The protocol for the disease offered the best hope for a cure. He has started a high dose chemotherapy. I think our school should get involved in a money drive to help find a cure for neuroblastoma.

    hey,
    That is so so so so so sad !! I deffiantly think that we should do somthing to raise money and help this little kid! If tha was us we would want people to help us as well. I think that is a great idea to get involed and help raise money!!
